Re: [Voting] Challenge 2016: Research and Development

These are brilliant. I am so impressed by the quality of the modelling, painting and datasheets for these. I was also interested in the big spread of unit types so I compared the force organisation slots, for those interested. I think it's very appropriate that a codex of Tau experimental units has ...

Thanks!

As someone who is very motivated by impending deadlines, I'd love to know this too!

Re: [Challenge 2016] Research and Development

I was very excited to discover this challenge yesterday and already know the model I'll be entering! I just have to build it, which is why I'm posting... The last post mentioned that help was available, and this may not be what you meant but I was wondering if anyone had a ghostkeel head (variant b)...

Re: Ethereal conversion to Tau rogue

I've finished the model now (except the base). Just a spot of green stuff on his arm and I'm pleased with the pose. http://i.imgur.com/zK33frV.jpg http://i.imgur.com/WrDpW0P.jpg http://i.imgur.com/1kr2vau.jpg http://i.imgur.com/eDz5Odg.jpg

Ah! Good point! I hadn't thought about that. I wonder if I could replace this with a fire caste symbol taken from an armpad, I'll experiment with that later.

Re: Ethereal conversion to Tau rogue

Thanks for the tip themooggle. There wasn't a left arm holding a pistol, but in my pathfinders spares I had an arm which I attached the pistol to (I still have to add a tiny bit of wire to the bottom of the grip). My friend is going to give me a speck of his green stuff to complete the join, at the ...

Ethereal conversion to Tau rogue

HI all, I am converting the Tau Ethereal that comes with the Start Collecting Tau Empire boxed set to a rogue duelist, and I want him to have dual pistols. Not a 40K game model, but I didn't need another ethereal, and didn't really like the model, so I wanted to make something cool with it. I have a...
