Several missions under Shas'El (now Shas'O) Or'es'ka have been logged, many notable victories against Gue'La Space Wolves, the enemies known as Chaos Marines, Gue'La Imperial Guard and a notable struggle against an Eldar raiding party on the Sept world of Si'Lema. Or'Es'Ka has led his forces with great honor and distinction winning many victories and silencing many enemies of the greater good.\\

After a disturbingly sudden Ork Assault on Si'Lema The Ethereal Aun'O Si'Lema Lu'shan and his body guard reported an ambush En route to Battle front. O'Or'Es'Ka upon hearing of the Ambush cursed the Orks, believing this kind of tactic beyond them. He gathered all the forces he could muster, three teams of Fire Warriors, a Hammerhead, a Scout Tetra and his personal retinue.
After this it is unknown what became of Or'Es'Ka, what is known the Ethereal, Or;Es'Ka and his hunter Cadre have not returned to Tau control and no Reports have been issued, it is assumed he has left the Greater good and Become rouge, though this is unconfirmed and the Si'Lema council refute this claiming Or'Es'Ka would never betray his Sept, but do Admit his devotion to Lu'Shan borders on inappropriate.

At the end of the 41st Millenium in response to calls for aid from the planetary governor of Chandax lord Peter Panstark a trade ally of the Tau empire. Thus honoring the trade agreements between planet Chandax and the Tau empire, the Y'anoi Kauyon Cadre was hastily formed (from elements of existing cadres in the vicinity mostly Bor'kan). And under the (first time appointed) commander Shas'el Am'ruin was tasked to investigate and aid as best as possible until a proper force could muster.

The successes of the cadre and the show of tactical genius of the commander, made the council of Bor'kan to reevaluate the tasks assigned to the cadre. Thus assigning the cadre the task of claiming the planet for all time for the glory of the Tau empire, so that the planet is used as a secure base to claim the entire system when the force needed is gathered.

MISSION STATUS: After a mysterious surge in the engines aboard the fleet’s many ships as it made it jump into the warp, the 101st Expansionist Fleet jumped to a destination far from its intended target location, it is now occupying an unknown region of space separated from each other. After the flag ship of the fleet ‘Lar'shi Shi’ (Hero class ship ‘Victory’) crashed on the planet now designated Vorc’lan (a highly volcanic planet) the tau on-board have started work on a defensible outpost to live in until they can determine where they are in space, and how to get home.

With many secondary systems on board the ship still functioning the Air Caste Members were able to get long range communication online and have communicated their location to the rest of the fleet. However due to damage sustained during their journey the ships are unable to travel through the warp and must really on their sub-light engines to get to their desired location. However due to how far apart these ships scattered on arrival in this region of space, this journey will take months for some, years for others.

Using long range scanners the crew of the ‘Lar'shi Shi’ also discovered that their current area of space is crawling with Necron fleets, a splinter of a Tyranid hive ship, as well as various members of the Imperium of Man. It is thought that these forces are currently unaware of the Cadres presence in this area, but how long the Tau forces can remain undiscovered in unknown as well as whether the remainder of the Tau Fleet will arrive in time to help in the defence.

The Interdiction Cadre known as "Hunter Cadre Firestorm" is not a Cadre in the traditional sense.
The Cadre performs primarily in an interdiction role in the defence of Tau space.

--This is Shas'O Cas'val of the La'vien Ka'su, on our way home from our last deployment to the Fal'shia sept a strong warp storm
claimed our cadre fleet. Communications with the local gue'vessa have identified this solar system as Ghandris Prime within
Segmenta Obscurus near a horrifying space anomaly referred to as "The Eye of Terror" Shortly after arriving in the system we came
under attack by an Ork battle fleet and though we prevailed one of our merchant class ships was heavily damaged and will need repairs
before we attempt to leave the system. Luckily the bearer of this message was willing to provide us with accurate star maps after a
few hours of negotiation with our Por representatives but obtaining the resources to repair our ships will be more difficult to do.
The system is locked in a stalemate between a dynasty of the metal ones and the territory of a space marine chapter, each empire
consisting of 5 of the systems 10 worlds and both of them jealously guarding their lines from each other and an Ork armada
that has been testing the defenses of both factions. I don't want to get involved in their conflict but we need those resources
thus I have dispatched several stealth teams to scout the defenses of both empires, with any luck we'll be able to get in and
back out before they even know tau are in the sector. By the greater good I will see these tau returned home, until then farewell.--

Shas'O "Riptide" is a native of the planet Ke'lshan. He has a distinguished combat record, and spent most of his career serving as a Stealth Team leader. He specializes in destabilization of enemy forces, and makes extensive use of Stealth Teams. He is considered by many from his home Sept to be somewhat "eccentric". He is unusually interested in the cultures of other races; specifically, how to best use them to his advantage and the furthering of the goals of the Tau Empire. In combat with forces of the Gue'la, he has identified commanders who are especially wasteful of troops and resources; shockingly common amongst that barbaric race. In the combat zones these commanders operate, he has allowed them meaningless victories, often the simple taking of a stretch of ground, to inflate their position within the command structure of the Gue'la. The Gue'la commanders are willing to pay extraordinarily high prices to further their own status, and the cost to Tau forces of giving up the land is negligible. Over time, the commanders Shas'O "Riptide" has decided to artificially elevate gain more and more influence, and expend ever more valuable men and material for inconsequential gains. Once the situation has progressed to his satisfaction, Shas'O "Riptide" will initiate a swift counterattack, and can often topple the entire Gue'la force by taking advantage of the poor abilities of the opponent he has chosen.

Admittedly, the tactics he employs tend to take a large amount of time, and can keep his forces engaged longer than is probably necessary. Critics of him have pointed out these facts, but due to the low casualties of units under his command, the experience they gain in these protracted campaigns, and the often crippling numbers of enemy's killed or captured, he maintains his rank. Sometimes, things do go array though. His most recent campaign against a small Ork warband operating on planet -CLASSIFIED- has backfired in a rather spectacular manner. His attempt to bring down the Ork economy by infusing it with huge numbers of teeth taken from dead Orks almost initiated a full scale WAAAAAGH!. Only the rapid redeployment of his forces and a surgical strike by Stealth Teams at the Stompa production facilities that had been constructed prevented disaster. Disciplinary action may be pending.

MISSION STATUS:
Tau'atha had been for all thoughts and purposes considered lost since the Warp Rift, created to protect the empire from the encroaching Y'he that had followed the Halyen Fleets fleeing the destruction wrought on their homeworlds, tore it from Tau space.
Prior to the 3rd phase expansion heavily damaged courier drones confirmed Tau'atha had survived and been deposited far away from Tau space, location not yet ascertained. Shortly after a small rift was detected on Tau'athas surviving moon, still located in Tau space, and Commander Dragonfire along with his technical advisors requested aide to secure Tau'atha and settle the local planets. El'Sougai, O'Van Vollenstee and El' Kallas Enva volunteered to assist, along with PRIAT sections 1 and 9. Using the knowledge his advisors had gained a large rift was opened to allow the relief force access to Tau'atha to proceed as planned, with a few provisos given by the Aun's.
Contact is now steady with Tau'atha with regular communications via a smaller stable warp rift, while the Y'he menace has been all but stamped out, Tau'atha is solidifying its resources and allies, fast becoming a successful colony away from scrutiny.

MISSION STATUS:
Commander Nightveil was sent to investigate an anomalous signal on a planet close to N'Dras space. Nighveil landed on Kel'shor (Black Landing) to investigate, only to find his cadre made landing during a Tyranid seedling swarm. Most of his forces were lost, only the stealth teams, himself, and his officers were able to leave Kel'shor alive. Nightveil returned to N'Dras to request new troops. He slowly built his forces, hand picking recruits and training them personally. Ethereals on N'Dras ordered him to remain near N'Dras space, arguing that their isolation from the empire makes every shas a precious resource. Nightveil accepted the order, but his eyes turn forever to Kel'shor, requesting every month for permission to return and destroy those that slaughtered his men. Each request has been denied, but still he sends them, in hopes that the ethereals will come to their senses and allow him to return. While he waits, he protects N'Dras from any threat he is sent against, usually victorious, but the loss of his original forces remain a mark on his honor, a mark he wishes to cleanse.
