Real first name: Liz
Age and gender: 18, female
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Occupation:Student
How did you get into wargaming? I started playing Warhammer Fantasy with a few friends after being introduced to the game.
How did you get into Tau? I was horribly beaten by a Tau player when I was still playing Guard and realized that the Tau style of play suited me much much more.
What would be your second piece of advice (after "read the freakin' rules") to a new Tau player? To play a few games and get the feel of things before committing any of their models to a certain equipment set. Several of the Tau models, such as the Skyray kit, allow for a lot of options and can be set up to take full advantage of them all.
What is your Tau colour scheme? Jungle themed, on most models a base of watered down Catachan Green with a couple greens and beiges dry brushed on and details done in Camo and Catachan Greens. Though I am looking at modifying this scheme after recent inspiration and motivation from too much time spent lurking.
How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member? I found this site in my quest to find a crisis suit model that I could fall in love with (unfortunately to little avail) and have just joined the site.
What are the origins of your ATT username? I don't actually remember. It is a username I have been using fairly universally for several years now.
Have you reviewed the ATT Primers? yes
Where and how often to you usually play? I play a game or two every week at the local Gamesworksop.
Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system? I currently have a Lizardman army for Warhammer Fantasy, though it is in dire need of remodeling and repainting and hasn't seen a table in several years.
What is your favourite and least favourite army to play against? My favourite army to play against is probably Guard and my least favourite is probably Marines.
What is your best and worst 40K moment? My best 40k moment would have to be the first tournament I ever attended, I fielded a Blood Angels army. In the last game of the night I drew because my 5 Deathguard and their Chaplain killed the majority of 4 units of Tactical Marines, finishing the game with me only having my Chaplain, a Predator and 4 other marines on the table.
What does/do your family/significant other/friends think about your 'funny toys'? My little brother is starting to play and my mother has resigned herself to it. Many of my friends also play so they don't really have anything to say, and at the moment there is no significant other.
What are some of you other interests? I enjoy art, mainly practicing photography, printmaking, metalworking, and drawing, and also enjoy role playing games, politics and volunteering.
Do you have any pets? I will hopefully have a cat soon.
What is your favourite band? Metric

Welcome to ATT, DizyLizy! It's a pleasure to have you here, and I'll be the first to let you know that you're not alone here. You're at least the fourth woman to join us here at ATT, so make yourself at home, grab a bit of pech caf, and don't forget a picture or two of your army. We always like to see the new folks' armies.

Well I am back at the game so I thought I could reintroduce myself and update you folks on where I am now.
Real first name: Liz
Age and gender: 21, female
Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
Occupation:Student (Studying Interdisciplinary Design, with a focus on graphic design and typography)
Several of the Tau models, such as the crisis suit, allow for a lot of options and can be set up to take full advantage of them all.
What is your Tau colour scheme? Khaki cloth undersuit with a deep crimson as the primary colour, dark grey as an accent colour, white as an accent colour on officer models, and finally yellow for sept markings and details.
How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member? I found this site in my quest to find a crisis suit model that I could fall in love with.
What are the origins of your ATT username? I don't actually remember. It is a username I have been using fairly universally for several years now.
Have you reviewed the ATT Primers? yes, but I intend to re-read them as I have been gone a long time.
Where and how often to you usually play? I play a game or two each month at the local Gamesworksop.
Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system? I have a large blood angels army, and the beginnings of a Krieg force for 40k. Kingdoms of Men (mainly Gondor) in LOTR. I have a very large Skaven army in Fantasy.
What is your favourite and least favourite army to play against? My favourite army to play against right now is Dark Eldar, I have had a couple excellent games recently that were very close. I don't know if I have a least favorite at the moment.
Right now my primary partner also plays and if a large part of why I play. Most of my friends find it at least intriguing.
What are some of you other interests? I enjoy art, mainly practicing photography, printmaking, metalworking, and drawing, and also enjoy role playing games, politics and volunteering.
Do you have any pets? I have a cat.
What is your favourite band? Band of Skulls

Welcome back, Liz! It's good to see people return. Somehow I missed that you were Canadian. Good job.
