I have been a member for a few months now but never noticed this forum, so here goes:

How did you get into wargaming?
My friend introduced me to Warhammer 40,000 four years ago, when I started my Space Marine army, which is fairly small, considering I have been working away at it for a long time, but it started out as a 'collect what I like army' before I got into gaming.

How did you get into Tau?
I needed an army for my Space Marines to fight, at first I was going to choose Chaos Space Marines, but I was fed up of painting power armour so I chose Tau instead.

What would be your second piece of advice (after "read the freakin' rules") to a new Tau player?
Be as creative as you want to be, do what you think feels right, it's your model after all

What is your Tau colour scheme?
Skull White Base
Some panels picked out in Shadow Grey
Adeptus Battle Grey Cloth
Blood Red in some places like tips of weapons and antennae.

How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member?
I found it a while ago but never looked at it much until I recently started Tau, I have been a member since April of this year.

What are the origins of your ATT username?
It's the name of my Commander, the origins of his name I have no idea, I just thought of a random, appropriate sounding name.

Have you reviewed the ATT Member Primers?
Yes, I have and I see no difficulty in upholding them.

Where and how often do you usually play?
I play at my local gaming club most Saturdays, but sometimes at my house or my friends house.

Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system?
As I said before I have a medium size force of Space Marines (My own Chapter )

What is your favourite and least favourite army to play against?
My favorite army to play against is my friends Chaos Space Marines, always a good game.
Least favorite to play against NECRONS! They won't die!

What is your best and worst 40K moment?
My best 40K moment would have to be placing my friends Chaos Space Marine Terminators within range of every single gun in my army after he deep strike mishapped
My worst moment would have to be pushing the seat from the inside of a hammerhead main body when trying to glue in the landing gear. This basically turned it into a giant rattle. I finally managed to maneuver it into place with a pair of tweezers through the top hatch and glue it back into place, lucky escape!

What does/do your family/significant other/friends think about your 'funny toys'?
I think most of my family think I should be doing something more productive and my friends think it's nerdy but who cares? I LOVE IT!

What are some of you other interests?
I enjoy video games, reading, climbing and 'computering' (<probably not the right term)

Do you have any pets?
Yes. Three Cats, and a goldfish which has died several times.

What is your favourite band?
I don't really listen to music much, but I like the Kaiser Chiefs, Jason Derulo and Kings of Leon

So that's me, I'll get round to uploading some pictures of my Tau and maybe Space Marines as soon as I figure out how to upload pics, if anyone could help me by giving some simple instructions I'd be very grateful.
