How did you get into Tau?
I got into playing via SM but as soon as the tau were released I said to my brother "I want to play these guys, what are they like" and it went from there. On and off for over a decade played all the way through 3rd ed, half way through the life of 4th ed and just now starting back up after 3 years and still getting to grips with the nuances of 5th
What would be your second piece of advice (after "read the freakin' rules") to a new Tau player?
Don't be afraid to be mobile! Opponents expect Tau to be static from other players they've played, give them something different.
What is your Tau colour scheme?
Standard Tau colour: Tau sept and scab red cloth
How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member?
I found this site a while ago, then I stopped playing due to life and now I'm picking it back up but with all the new rules I had to learn fast.

I use it for everything.

Where and how often do you usually play?
I play Thursdays at GW.
Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system?
I've played SM, GK and IG but Tau have always been my go to army, I'm just more comfortable having a couple of rail guns to rely on.
What is your favourite and least favourite army to play against?
I like playing against orks, it's always a 50/50 of how the games gonna go. I love GK and Matt Ward. Love Matt Ward. I've met him, nice guy but love him.
What is your best and worst 40K moment?
Best? An Ork warboss charged my Shas'o through cover during a Wwwwaaaggghhh!!! move and killed himself. I Imagine my Shas'o's look of pity mirrored my own.
The worst was when I was playing GK in 4th ed and a whole squad of terminators lost to a 6 man guardian squad. FML.
What does/do your family/significant other/friends think about your 'funny toys'?
I always say to the girlfriend I'm "nerding it up" when I paint or play, she's fine with it. My parents had to get used to it when I lived there. There was me, my older brother who worked at GW and my younger brother all collecting, painting and modelling
What are some of you other interests?
I wish I had time for them! I used to be big into paintball, but now I just play my guitar, workout and play

I have a mother f**king corgi. He is seriously awesome. He's called Butters 'cause he's a Butterscotch colour and has nothing to do with the fact he's an idiot and reminds me of Butters from south park

Alter Bridge, Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden, Rolling Stones, Led Zep and some others
