How did you get into wargaming? I enjoy model making and model railroading. My local hobby store was a GW independant retailer and 40K caught my eye.

How did you get into Tau? They just look great, and I love the general consenses that they are the underdogs. It makes winning that little bit more sweet.

What would be your second piece of advice (after "read the freakin' rules") to a new Tau player? Getting assaulted is bad, stay mobile, stay alive, so you can stay shooting.

What is your Tau colour scheme? Remember what the Rebels were wearing when they infiltrated Endor in the Return of the Jedi? ..something like that.

How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member? I've been lurking and benifiting from this site since I first got into Tau three years ago. I'm just finally joining now.

What are the origins of your ATT username? Mythical prince that killed some dragon sent from Mars. He planted its teeth in the ground that grew into a bunch of warriors that battled each other and the survivors helped found the city of Thebes... or something close to that.

Have you reviewed the ATT Member Primers? Yes.

Where and how often do you usually play? Once a week at a gaming club.

Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system? I bought the Battletech Introductory Starter kit, but haven't done anything with it.

What is your favourite and least favourite army to play against? I have never lost to Space Marines. I have never won against Grey Knights.

What is your best and worst 40K moment? Don't know about best... Worst was my first game of 40K. Movement phase turn 1: Shas'O and shield drone jump pack into difficult terrane. Drone dies on difficult terrane test, Shas'O fails morale and falls back 3D6 off the table, I'm surprise I've kept playing sice then!

What does/do your family/significant other/friends think about your 'funny toys'? My boys think they are great, my wife... not so much.

What are some of you other interests? Just playing with the kids.

Do you have any pets? No, but I used to have a Great Dane but had to give him away before moving to Perth.

What is your favourite band? I like mellow accustic stuff. I'm really into Darren Hanlon at the moment.

Welcome to ATT Cadmus,

Part of your intro struck a chord with me: I'm sorry you had to give up your pooch, but hopefully you can have another in the future. :D

I hope you continue to enjoy the forum, it should get interesting with 6th breaking out.
