Real first name: Christopher (but I prefer Chris).
Age and gender: 28 and Male.
Location: Kent, England.
Occupation: Student, but graduating soon in Modelmaking.
How did you get into wargaming? A few friends of mine made me read Lord of the Rings when I was 11, they also played Games Workshop games and got me involved that way.
How did you get into Tau? I've been a watcher for a long while, I have admired Tau from a far since they first came out. Only last week have I taken the plunge after being sick of Space Marines (which I have collected for 18 years on and off).
What would be your second piece of advice (after "read the freakin' rules") to a new Tau player? Be your own man, advice is good but it what you feel that counts.
What is your Tau colour scheme? I haven't got one yet, the only things I have so far are a Piranha, XV25 Stealth Team, a box of Fire Warriors and the codex. (Edit:
http://bolterandchainsword.com/fws.php? ... bg=C4C4C4&) I've been playing around and I like maybe something like this.
How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member? I joined today and read the introduction post that said I should post here. I typed in google "Tau Forum" then looked at the results.
What are the origins of your ATT username? Well it was originally my Playstation network username (still is), although I now use it for my xbox live name as well but with 4 a's instead. (Beefcaaaake). It was originally inspiration from the South Park episode and I just like screaming it sometimes.
Have you reviewed the ATT Member Primers? I have just finished doing that now, I really like the interpretation of WTF.
Where and how often do you usually play? There is a newly opened independent games store in my local town, also there are 2 gaming clubs in the nearby area. I don't play very often being in my final year of university, but that is something I would like to change.
Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system?
40K: Orks and Grey Knights.
Warhammer: Dogs of War.
Blood Bowl: Humans.
Mordheim: Loads of warbands.
Necromunda: Goliaths.
Malifaux: The Viktorias and Kaeris.
Dystopian Wars: Covenant and Americans.
Dust: Allies.
Warmachine: The Retribution of Scyrah.
What is your favourite and least favourite army to play against? I haven't really played many games recently and I don't really care who or what I fight as long as it was good fun.
What is your best and worst 40K moment? Best: 10x Fire Dragons arriving behind the baneblade. (Bye-Bye). Worst: Having a greater daemon appear next to my Imperial Guard gun line and then munch through all my army.
What does/do your family/significant other/friends think about your 'funny toys'? Haha, my Dad regularly says "Are you still collecting those little toys". To which I normally respond it's much more interesting than your stamp collection. I also feel that it is a good investment due to the Games Workshop price hikes I think GW models are worth more than gold now.

My Partner doesn't really care as she paints and plays other games as well.
What are some of you other interests? I like models, I am doing a degree in modelmaking that is anything from architectural models to film props. So I like most things like this. I also have an interest in drawing. I am trying to find some work Blacksmithing at the moment, something else I am interested in. Other than that, most geeky things really.
Do you have any pets? I have 2 rats called Yara and Arcadia. Well Yara is mine, the other one belongs to my partner.
What is your favourite band? I don't really have one, I have a fairly eclectic taste in most things. I won't listen to Rap, Drum n Bass, Pop music or anything else along those lines though.
Hope that is a good enough introduction and I look forward to perusing this forum some more.
PS. Edit was for an army colour scheme.
