Real first name: Matt
Age and gender: College-aged male.
Location: California, USA.
Occupation: School and part-time work.
How did you get into wargaming? Walked into my local game store in 4th or 5th grade, and just picked it up from there. Been playing almost consistently since.
How did you get into Tau? My friend used to play them, I bought some off of him. (Played marines beforehand)
What would be your second piece of advice (after "read the freakin' rules") to a new Tau player? All about positioning, target prioritizing, and more positioning to counter what your opponent does.
What is your Tau colour scheme? Well not painted yet, still deciding. But thinking of black undercoat, a kind of turquoise/aqua as base for the armor with either a silver or white trim. I'll be generic and make the color of the pulses from the weapons light blue, and weapons probably black or grey. How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member?
What are the origins of your ATT username? Ben is a nickname, and Matt's my name. Pretty straightforward lol.
Have you reviewed the ATT Member Primers? Yes
Where and how often do you usually play? My LGS (local game store), at least two times a week or so.
Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system? Ah well of course. I used to play space marines, so I've got some leftovers of them. I also played Confrontation and AT-43 (both by Rackham, and both amazing games), in which I played Dirz, and UNA, respectively. There's been a plethora of other games in-between, but Confrontation was definitely the best.
What is your favourite and least favourite army to play against? I like playing against IG or Marines when they start trying to gun line me...doesn't work haha. Hoards of 'Nids+ too much cover on the board= no fun for Tau.
What is your best and worst 40K moment? Can't say I have a best or a worst. I just really enjoy playing and socializing with other gamers and my friends.
What are some of you other interests? I'll keep it short. I love outdoors, music, videogames, and public speaking.
Do you have any pets? Nope
What is your favourite band? No way I could pick just one, so my favorite genres are rock, alternative, soundtrack, electronic, classical, jazz (swing), and some metal, rap and hip hop/R&B.
