How did you get into wargaming?
I got into Warhammer Fantasy over 15 years ago. I delved into 40k a few years later. I no longer had a gaming group so my Warhammer play ceased. Just ow trying to get back into things so I'm learning again.

How did you get into Tau?
Loved the design of the army. Picked up an army off of eBay.

What would be your second piece of advice (after "read the freakin' rules") to a new Tau player?
Not sure since I'm new and just read the Codex today for the first time. I still need to get a 40k rules manual.

How did you find this site/the old site, and how long have you been a member?
Before buying the Tau army, I Google searched "How to win with Tau" or something similar and found the link here. This is my first day as a member.

Where and how often do you usually play?
Just recently found a gaming store in a mall somewhat near me. I'm hoping to get back into gaming soon. It's been several years since I've played.

Do you have any other armies, for 40K or another system?
I had Blood Angels (sold a lot of pieces) and Eldar (sold just about everything) for 40k. For Fantasy, I played a lot with the old Undead army before it got split into Vampires and Tomb Kings but sold just about everything. After the Undead I got into Chaos and still have an army. Bought into Orcs and Goblins when I thought I was going to get back into gaming (even though it never happened) and still have the army. I also picked up a lot of Empire pieces with some High Elf pieces too. I guess you can say I like a lot of armies.

What is your favourite and least favourite army to play against?
If this is getting back to Tau Empires I cannot comment as I haven't played a single game with them yet. In the past I disliked playing against Tyranids. When playing Undead I liked to play against the Dark Elves as I wiped the floor with them usually.

What is your best and worst 40K moment?
It's been so long...I just remember getting wiped out handily by the Tyranids when I used Eldar.

What does/do your family/significant other/friends think about your 'funny toys'?
I'm trying to get my wife into 40k. She's not a gamer per se so don't know if it'll last but she wants Space Wolves for the "animal" feel.

What are some of you other interests?
Darting, PC/console gaming, poker, fantasy sports, electronics, board gaming, animals (not necessarily in that order)

Yes, too many to mention.

One tip from me is; We may be a bit weak against the other codexs at the moment so I hope you like tactics and are not a fan of the "mondo rush" into combat.
