I've never been a big fan of open-topped models. A lot of it is sheer laziness on my part--I absolutely hate painting models in pieces, prior to assembly--but I'm also not a big fan of the 'bobsled' appearance of the stock fuselage. As a result, I've had a trio of piranha's waiting to be assembled for nearly three months... until I saw sLai's version. Inspired by his conversion skill, I came up with this:
I'm pretty darn happy with it, and it wasn't all that time consuming to do. As always, critique is welcome.

That's cute!
Looks really drone-ish (much more then mine.. ) with the same "curious" expression as the stock and FW drones. Well executed, I didn't spot the seams between the fuselage and the engines at first Nice to see me mentioned as a source of inspiration

sleek, and yes "cute" could be utilized here. I like the smooth flow from fuselage to drone-disk, and the antennae do give it that puppy-like look of "whats-that-thing-over-there!!?"
My only criticism is the model length. It doesn't look as long as a stock piranha, and that might make some of your opponents stroppy, seeing as we now use literal line of sight.

I actually really like this. It's sort of like a heavier version of the Forgeworld little flyer. Most importantly.. it gets rid of the pilots that don't properly fit in the cockpit anyhow!
