Thanks for the compliment and the clarification :D :D I wasn't sure how to interpret that originally :D :D I should really be working, but thought I'd post the next two configuration before starting lol.

Standard Type 3 Bladed - Magnet Count: 34
ImageImageImage
Part 1 of the Thrust Pack which provides bursts of speed like after burners. Took a lot of small slices to get it fitting snuggly around the existing VX8 central exhaust. This took some careful glueing as the small pieces at the back are spaced out by putting spare plastic pieces in between to try and keep them evenly spaced. Bit like a sandwich, making sure the filling didn't actually stick to the bread hehe.

The Iridium Wrist blades are made from two pieces of plastic card. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the mount, but there is an epic round base with a hole in the middle on one piece of the balde. A magnet is stuck on the other piece which then sits into the hole of the other piece and then sticks to the arm. So basically the two blade can open up, but also taken apart and flipped. You'll see in the next configuration. The handle section of the blade is a bit bland because I forgot to stick the round bit to it as part of the shot. So that would have made it look better, but also increase the magnet count by two.

Assault Type 1 - Magnet Count: 36
"Stay still!" the space marine cursed as he spun around on the spot blasting away with his Bolt Gun at the VX8 commander, who was flying around him rapidly in circles mockingly. He continued to spin on the spot trying to track his opponent and almost loosing his footing. "I'm getting dizzy! Will you stay still and let me kill you!"

Thrust Pack complete. There is an additional central exhaust piece that slides neatly into place for this. So a bit of spot the difference with the photos. This extends downwards in between the first piece of the Thrust Pack. The hardest part to this was super-gluing two magnets with opposite poles together. Almost had them glued to my fingers as well. This is required for the additional thrust jets which then stick to the magnets and then can be piveted vertically. Although the blades on the thrust jets were designed with the longer blades pointing down, the way I mounted the magnets meant that the jets can be swopped around so the longer blades point upwards. Probably won't do that, but I like things to be very flexible.

From the side shot, one piece of the Iridium Wrist Blade has been flipped to form additional stabilizing wings. I'm really proud of this design and I think I'll take shots of the mount in the future to show this. I also show in this configuration the wing tips pivet downwards. Possible because the magnets stick to a standard steel ball bearing.

Oh, if you haven't guessed, the Thrust Pack design is taken from a Gundam.

Well was a bit busy at work, so not had the time. Also didn't have the new pictures. The final two configurations for Shas'O Tung.

Assault Type 2 - Magnet Count: 37 +8 mini magnets for the shield
ImageImageImage
The Pulse Sword isn't an original idea, but taken from someone else from the Forum (appologies for not having your name at hand).

The Burst Shield is made from plastic card built around a shield generator. So the magnet on the existing shield generator sits into a hole in the plastic card. The half of the Burst Cannon is stuck on using very small magnets. I didn't get around to painting it (me being me... i.e. lazy). The indents on the shield are actually painted on.

Overload Type 1 - Magnet Count 38 + 4 mini magnets on the shield.
ImageImageImageImage
An original head... well not original idea, but the first for 40K. I wanted a more female style head and after failing to fit two Drones to the side of the head, I found these small drone controllers? from the Stealth Suits sprue. I also added the curled bits from the FW sprue (looks like a policeman's truncheon) to the end to form plaits.

The Burst Blade is made from plastic card again with a position for an existing Shield Generator to fit into. The end/handle is the weapon mount of a Drone and also the barrel of the Burst Cannon. There are two of these, one is just hidden under the shield generator mounted on the back. The burst barel is actually stuck onto the blade this time rather than using magnets as I had no intention of using the blade without it. The blade was too bland in that area where it is mounted. I was also tempted to drill holes into the end of the barrel, but wasn't sure if I could pull that off, so left it as is.

The Extended Shield Generator is the Burst Shield without the Burst Barrel. And this fits onto the shoulder.

Looking back at the photo and writing this, I think I should have painted the plastic cards between the shield generator and the drone weapon mount (you can see it all in black) in the same red and add some black lines.

So that's all of Shas'O Shan'dral Tung. Just need to get around to doing a bit more work on Shas'O Leo'la Jhin and then take some more photos.

This is my final commander. Unfortunately I havent spent as much time as the others due to a house move just after I started this. I'm hoping to make some heavy weapons for this commander to make her almost in a class with the VX88.

Shas'O Leo'la Jhin
Standard Type 1 - Magnet Count: 31 plus 2 mini magnets
ImageImage
A basic commander head without the fins on the side (just because they kept breaking off).

Standard Type 2 - Magnet Count: 32 plus 2 mini magnets
ImageImage
The extended Plasma Cannon is made from standard varies VX8 weapons and a targetter because I couldn't be bothered to use green stuff to mold the shape I wanted. I think I could have done a better job with the front of the barrel, but just darn too lazy to clean it up. I forgot to paint the power pack at the end which is currently black, but later painted it space wolf grey.

Long Range Type 1 (Missile Boat) - Magnet Count: 34 plus 2 mini magnets
ImageImageImageImage
A missile boat. The head being an obvious multi-tracker added to the front of a standard head. I left all the atennas to show the tracking of all the missiles required. The two double missile pods actually have individual magnets so they can be seperated. I mounted these onto the side of the jet pack as I wanted them to be able to pivot slightly and also to be aiming upwards. A slight flaw in the shoulder mounts meant I couldn't really use the angled slot on the shoulder mount.
The ankle reinforcement shows where the mini magnets are hidden. The barrel of the Burst Cannon is used and it has a standard size magnet carved into the top. The bottom rods actually fit neatly to the feet, so if you then twist the feet, the rods move with it. Also you can see one of the two magnets on the shins that i delibrately left unpainted as it looked nice as it was.

Overload Type 1 - Magnet Count: 47 plus 2 mini magnets
ImageImageImageImage
This became a bit of a rushed job. The missile pod mount was basically made from plastic card and then a hole in the middle to allow the magnets to sit in and hold together. The frontal armour took quite a bit of planning as it was made from parts from the Stealth suit that didn't quite fit together. There is a lot of superglue behind this and I think it would have been easier using green stuff. This can also act as a arm mounted shield, but havent worked on this as there are two magnets on either side, so need a central mount point if I were to use it as an arm mounted shield.

The shoulder antennas are obvious pulse rifles. A hole was drilled at the bottom and a wire thread through the plastic card mounts. Super glue was carefully applied to the end so the antenna can actually pivot up and down.

I'm hoping to revisit this one in the future and provide it with a bulkier heavy weapon as well as a reinforced/enhanced jet pack. But taking a break.

I've still yet to get around to taking a group shot, so that's next to come.

Holy ..... !!!
Your first Overlaod was amazing but the 2nd One really kicks ...!

What you have done is great, especially the use of different T'au-parts, and how you put them together to make something new. That is awesome!
Your "missile Boat" is great to. Will there be extra VDR or is it a count as?

VDR? I just convert the models because they look good. I don't actually play, so wouldn't know where to start with creating alternative rules for it.

I've added the pictures of the remainingPathFinders with Extended Pulse Rifles. Bit like a sniper Rifle.

Quite cool. It would be neat to be able to actually mount SMS on our crisis suits legally. If anything, when you do use it, it will be a very intimidating Deathrain, I assume.

I like the modularity of your commanders, and their ability to suit needed situations. Those are some awesome suits. I especially like that last suits "overload" configuration.

Hi Lextar,
I know that you don't play, but I just thought you build your BSuits based on rules. But building them just to look cool is allright, too  ;)

Your Pathfinders are great. When I saw the first attempts on the railrifles I wasn't sure if they turn out good, but they do look great now. *thumps up*
Do I see a Fish on the horizon?

Lack of space unfortunately sorta dictates what I'm willing to paint, and large surfaces aren't my favourite. I own a Devil Fish, but yet to touch it. I'm currently building up my Space Marines a bit, so taking a break from Tau.
