Aun Tier wrote: Nice job on the flyers! I love the Teeth design and the base that you did for the Barracuda. Is that a Dreadnought? As for the Pathfinders, I'm personally in favor of the far left colors. It just seems to blend in nicely with the rest of the scheme. It also has a pleasant camouflaged look, befitting to a Pathfinder. And finally, Crush All Those Who Reject The Tau'Va! *ahem* I mean, good luck in your apocalypse battle tomorrow. Your eye is correct that is a Dreadnaught on the base. It's painted in the Lamentors colors to "piss' off a player and draw fire from more juicier targets

Long time no post on about my Tau or any of my other armies for that matter. I just got in my Tau heads from Paulson Games and the detail on the helmets is good. If you want some unique Tau heads go to his store and pick you up some they are totally worth it. Today I started on a new Shas'el while I was over at my friend's house today. As I was working on him I realized I forgot his legs and base back home so I wasn't able to finish assembling him but at least I have a WIP. I give you Shas'el Kuy'adra Trai'sae "Hyperion"

How well did that Krootox fit together? Is it as bad as the metal version or have they finally sorted it out?

The hips of the rider are still off set a little but with the resin it is easier to shift and hold into position.

So they've sorted the body of the Krootox to actually fit together and not have a massive gaping whole down the middle of his chest?

It might just be the angle, but it looks as though the suits head is not able reach over his/her breastplate. Sorry if I'm nitpicking. I'm just a firm believer of function with the form and thought it might have been overlooked. I hope you do not take offence. Edit: Nobody wants a Quasishas'o aiming up. Sorry, I couldn't help myself Also, Paulson has done a wonderful job with all his pieces. I can't wait to order some soon when the mulah is back on my side again. Also, also, they've made the transition to plastic on the krootox/hounds?!?!?! When did this happen? My 2 metal krootox are furious at me for wishing I had waited for resin ones!

You are correct his chin doesn't. It's in part because of the breastplate used but also sort of like a throat protector as well. Sort of like the Exemplar Cinerators breastplate does as well. Yes Paulson has done an amazing job. I'm half tempted to buy new suits just so I can use all those heads lol.

If you like the heads that much just rip off your current heads and replace. That's what I did with all my xv8's and broadsides. I have a short video showing a couple of mine on Youtube. Key words tau paulson first vid. I like his mech weapons a lot too. Did the railguns a while back and recently ordered his new beam rifle one and am going to use that to replace my plasma rifles on my fireknives and HQ's. BTW, who makes those termy looking models you posted. I see a conversion in the works for my SM's.

The expensive part came from wanting to add in the piranha breastplate on all of mine. I will be making at least 2 Shas'vre bodyguards to match my new Shas'el. I also hope that the Crisis suit gets a new model akin to the Gamesday 2008 Farsight model. The terminator looking guys are Exemplar Cinerators made by Privateer Press for Warmachine.

I'm really enjoying Paulson's mech heads; they look so amazing on our Crisis Suit models. I can't wait for my current order to arrive so I can finish swapping out the heads I also have a Shas'vre Body Guard put together for my new Shas'el. I can't wait for payday so i can start get the other bodyguard put together as well.

Good looking suits you got there. Is that knee pad a chopped up crisis suit arm?

I was over at my friends house and he has an assorted amount of models from different armies in different stages of painting. I do believe he has a bit of army-itis, kinda like alt-itis in any mmo. Makes me really want to finish my Tau army so I can work on knocking down my Dark Eldar army. So far I've started working on my counts as Knarloc riders by getting their base coats and wash done. Now onto putting paint onto the weapons, saddles etc Almost done with finishing up my Tau parking lot. 6x Hammerheads, 6x Devilfish, 1x Command Devilfish, 3x Pathfinderfish, 3x Piranhas, 1x Piranha TX-42, 4x Tetras, 1x Remora, 2x Tigersharks Ax-1-0, and 2x Barracuda's

That's quite an impressive force already. I like how the knarloc rider came along, simple yet effective. I think it's good they have a similar color, makes them tie in with the rest of the army, but don't forget to also give them a few trademark colors of their own! Kern
