I will first mention that this is as close as I could get to the project logs, mods are more than welcome to move this to a more appropriate location if they so wish.
After must time spent assembling, priming, then stripping, re-building, and re-priming my various Tau models I have finally been able to get around to painting them (along with my other armies but that's another topic). At the beginning of the year a member of my local club has started a Warhammer 40K escalation league in an effort to rejuvenate the 40K game in our club (which is currently WarmaHordes focused). It starts at 500 point and grows by ~250 points every two weeks with points for games and painting (and basing); hopefully with a tournament at the end with everyone's painted armies.
I felt this would be a great opportunity to focus on my Tau army and try to get them all painted up, however I face the challenge of a full semester at University, but I hope to persevere and get this army painted. So with out further a due I present my developing cadre.
Disclaimer: I am by no means a great converter or a great painter, but I hope to get some comments and criticism as to my work and hope to learn plenty as I move along in this project.
I'll start with my 'O model that I actually converted from a tutorial on ATT, the tutorial was to make Shas'O Kais from the Dawn of War: Dark Crusade expansion. I will note that I did deviate from the instructions in a few minor areas, and that this build was probably bordering on the edge of my skill level, though I learned plenty and look forward to similar challenges in the future.

I look forward to getting this guy primed and painted in the coming few weeks.
Next up is my two (of three) Crisis suits:

And them my squad of Fire Warriors and their Shas'ui:

That's it for now; I hope to have my Path Finders, the other XV8 and some Kroot up in a little while.
Thanks for taking a look; C+C appreciated.
Note: sorry about the odd sized photos, still figuring things out and my video camera's still images are not that great, I hope to be able to get some better images up fairly soon.
