Greeting, Commanders.

After a long haitus, during which, the body and mind have been ravaged, mistakes made, contacts lost and the fabric of time itself has been torn asunder.. I return.

I would like to offer my regret at not keeping in contact on a more consistant basis, my energy and resources have been depleted whilst lost in the outer rim.

The last 2 r'otaa have been spent wisely however, managing to recieve reports of the greater empire's efforts through relay stations and the tireless supply convoys of the front lines.

I would like to (re)present the forces of Shas'O' wArh'O'und... as meager as they are at this time, for redeplyment into the Mu'gulath Bay contingent... pictograms as they enter system...

Shas'O' wArh'O'und
This is actually going to be an entry for GD this year... I started to build this, then came across Lord Dirks wonderful rendition of the Fireblade- tempted to revisit the bionic leg element, but will probably keep as is...

Until all are one.

I like what I'm seeing here. :) His pose suggests he's leaning against a strong wind, perhaps a sand storm or something. Eager to see this painted!

Indeed! ;)

Whilst the base is Terracota milliput (the BEST medium for sculpting your own rocks) and will be sprayed, I want to retain that martian desert kinda feel... also, it will tie with the Farsight pallet..

I am to add his bonding knife and maybe some other kit.... and possibly weather his cloak (threadbare holes etc?).. then onto the booth!

cheers
Warhound

Yay, he's back!

Subtle conversions works best, imho.
Keep it up!

Very nice! Can't wait to see the paint job.

I will second the statement regarding milliput for basing. I've been impressed with it after recently completing some Necromunda models, and doing some work on a *ahem* larger ;) WIP project.

Ooh...do show your mud/ rock work...

I love the stuff.. You just need to rub it, and due to its granular nature, it makes perfect scale geology :D

thanks for the kind words :D
