Hello everyone!

For the past 2 months I've been staring at a pile of primed guardsmen and just got the motivation to paint them. I hope to round out a decent sized force with them, but I'm also planning to spend a lot of time on each model. Something to take my time on .

Their fatigues are a coniferous-woodland camouflage and they have urban bases (disregard the unusual combination for now - hopefully I'll be detailing their history soon).

Without further ado:


Sergeant - 1st Company, 1st Platoon, 1st Squad


Standard Bearer - 1st Company, 1st Platoon, Command


Officer - 1st Company, 1st Platoon, Command

They're on photobucket, but they work just fine for me, so the problem is on your end.

Oh no, I wonder what the problem might be as they load fine for me. Is there someplace else reliable I can try hosting them on? I uploaded them to a DakkaDakka gallery but the images were inverted (???)

Nice work General. I've just bought some Guard dudes as well, so I'm looking for inspiration.

I like the subtle camo on the fatigues, however I'm not too keen on the lighter spots. Perhaps doing the spots in groups of threes?

I see what you mean. IRL the lighter spots aren't quite as bright as they appear in the photo, but I think if i made them a tiny bit smaller and mixed them around the fatigues a little more it might appear better balanced.

Also, I figured out the issue I had with DakkaDakka and re-hosted them from there -- maybe that will fix the problem viewing the photos 1st Tau Airborne and TheAmbit experienced.
