I've finally returned to ATT, and with quite a lot of things to show you! Today, I'm going to show you my Space Marine chapter, the Adeptus Communistica. I'll get to explaining the name tomorrow, as I don't have much time today, but here are some pictures. I'm sure that will make you happy. I apologize for the bad camera quality, and you will get pictures tomorrow without the flash on. I am only posting pictures of painted models.

PICTURES

Image

Tactical Squad 1 - Squad Andreevich

There are still three more Space Marines (Including Sergent Dimitry Andreevich) to come. I am still awaiting heads for them from the Venerable Dreadnought kit.

Image

Devastator Squad - Squad Porfirevich

This is my first (and only) devestator squad, lead by Sergent Mikhail Porfirevich.

Image

Land Raider Achilles - Iron Hammer

This is my prize model from this army. I have yet to paint it as I wish for my painting to improve so I don't make too many horrible mistakes.

Image

Terminator Squad 1 - Squad Semyonovich

This is the first of my two terminator squads - the second being a standard one - lead by Sergent Vladimir Semyonovich.

Some more of my army in the carry case. The rest are around... somewhere. Just need to dig through all my tau stuff.

All C&C welcome.

Tomorrow - battle report, pics, fluff and stuff!

As I promised, battle report! I don't have any pictures, as I forgot my camera, so it will all be worded instead. Enjoy.

Objective:
Capture the Tau technology.

Deployment zones:
12" in from either edge of the board.

Team 1

Adeptus Communistica
Captain Artyom Glukhovsky
Tactical Squad Andreevich with Rhino Tank Red Dove
Scout Squad Bromovich
Scout Bike Squadron

Unnamed Space Marines Chapter
Chaplain
Tactical Squad
Combat Squad

Necron Army 1
Necron Lord
Necron Warriors Squad
Necron Destroyer Squad

Team 2

Tyranid Army 1
Zoanthrope
Termagent Brood
Genestealer Brood

Tyranid Army 2
Zoanthrope
Termagent Brood
Genestealer Brood

Necron Army 2
Necron Lord
Necron Warrior Squad
12 Scarab Swarms
Monolith

Team 2 successfully stole the initiative and got the first turn.

Turn 1: Starting Out.
Team 2: Not much happened, everybody moved forward.
Team 1: Scout squad Borovich reached the first objective: an injured firewarrior, and the first tactical squad from the unnamed space marine army captured the second objective: a Tau Pulse Rifle.

Turn 2: First Shots Fired.
Team 2: The Monolith contested for the first objective and failed to kill a single unit from squad Andreevich. Necron Army 2's warrior squad destroyed one of the bikes from, my scout bike squadron. The termagents from Tyranid army 1 captured the third objective: a Tau Pulse Carbine, and the termagents from Tyranid Army 2 Captured the fourth objective: a Tau Helmet.
Team 1: Squad Andreevich moved into help squad Borovich, and my remaining bike killed a necron warrior. The tactical squad from the unnamed space marine chapter recieved backup from the combat squad and the chaplain. The tactical squad then killed six termagents. The necron destroyers from necron army 1 then go caught in close combat with tyranid army 2's genestealers, and lost one destroyer.

Turn 3: Final Turn.
Team 2: Nercron Army 2's lord successfully revived the fallen warrior, Tyranid army 1's termagents killed a single space marine and Tryanid army 2 did nothing whatsoever.
Team 1: The rocket launcher in squad Andreevich immobilized the monolith successfully, rendering it useless for turn 4 (which never came), and my last bike killed another two necrons. The chaplain from the unnamed space marine chapter killed another termagent with his plasma pistol, and the necron warriors from necron army 1 killed three termagents, causing them to loose objective 4, then captured it.
Results:
Team 1:
Tau Firewarrior (contested): 1/2 point
Tau Pulse Carbine: 1 Point
Tau Helmet: 1 point

Team 2:
Tau Firewarrior (contested): 1/2 point
Tau Pulse Rifle: 1 point

Team 1: 2 1/2 points
Team 2: 1 1/2 points

Team 1 wins.

The game would have lasted longer, but, because it was part of a beginners sunday at my LGS, we ran out of time and the guy working there called it off prematurely. It was a lot of fun though. Another report next sunday.

Okay, quick update, today I will be posting better pictures of squad Semyonovich, and some pictures of the (partially) painted Iron Hammer.

There will also be fluff, and news on an upcomong battle, in which Iron Hammer will be used! I would post all of this now, but I can't since I'm at school and have to make this quick.

Okay everybody, here is the fluff behind my army, the pictures are just uploading to deviantart now, but are taking ages.

The Adeptus Communistica see the Imperium as one large fascist dictatorship, and The Emperor as it's dictator. Many space marine chapters view the Adeptus Communistica as being on the brink of heresy for this reason, and more. The Adeptus Communistica also believe that it is possible for peace throughout the galaxy, and all of it's races. Although there are some races which are exceptions to this (The Tyranids, Dark Eldar, Forces of Chaos), they have already allied themselves with the Au'Taal sept of the Tau Empire, and the Biel Tan Eldar Craftworld. Their relations with the Tau are strongest of all, as they are the closest together out of the three races, and even share two solar systems. These two solar systems that are shared are both used prominently for gathering resources and testing new weapons, but a third solar system, partially occupied by a splinter fleet from Hive Fleet Kraken, has been spotted, with two untouched, habitable planets within it. Plans to colonise these planets are being made, and the cities shall be inhabited by both Humans and Tau. The designs and the materials for the buildings will come from the Kor Caste, and the transport for the materials and the manpower to build these buildings will come from the Adeptus Communistica. But first, the two races will launch an allied attack on the Tyranid fleet, hoping that they have left the planet untouched.

Looks like you won't get pictures today, only one has uploaded so far, and this is it's biggest size:

Looks like you'll just have to wait 'till tomorrow. Enjoy the fluff while you wait.

I absolutely love the names you give your men (Dimitry Andreevich), and that is one sexy land raider. My main point of criticism is mainly the paneling on it though. Those panels look like they could use another coat or two of red. Nice work!

Geoffles: Thanks! I would get to work on the panels, but I have ran out of scab red. Next on my shopping list is spray though. Nids took up my last of it. :(
