If you don't mind me asking, what program do you use to create these?

If these are 54mm in size, they could make the basis for a decent Broadside alternate. They look heavy and powerful and don't have the spindly lower legs of the current ones.

I preferred the design without the extra cylinders visually, especially with the extra two weapons slots.

I love those heads, I draw mecha and those heads aren't to far from my baseline builds!

Very nice and I love your aesthetic sense as well, very appealing to my taste.

Hmm.. and now that I look at it longer, any appleseed inspiration on those heads?

The heads are mostly a mix of Appleseed and elements of Mobile Suit Gundam.

There's probably some heavy gear influence that can be seen in there as well, although I didn't have that in mind at the time I was building them. The chin is a very deliberate nod to the older gundam series.

That has come out really well; certainly finding a more samurai/anime zone for these battle suits. Amazing work from your beginnings :)

To be honest, the rectangular muzzle says railgun more to me than the round barreled ones you've been producing. I like it.

After I've been staring at the pics for a few hours I'm wondering if the shorter beam gun needs to be a bit more slender?

The long version is the same height as the short but because of the length it feels more slender, is the current short version good or think I should reduce the height slightly?

I rather like the short version (better than the long one, if I'm honest). I vote to keep it as it is now.

Perhaps stretching it slightly so that isntead of tip to tail being the same length as your existing make the length from the muzzle to the 'butt' of the weapon the same as the existing ones and have the cooling cylinders (or whatever they are) extending out from there.

Let me see if I can do a visual here

Current Railgun.... |=======|
Current Beam Gun. |======|<
Stretched Beam ... |=======|<
