Hey guys I don't know how many of you saw the Reaper minis bones kick starter while it was running, I personally only noticed it one hour before the end so wasn't able to show any one of here while it was still going, however they are now saying they will allow people to get on the vampire pledge level for $150 (up from $100) which is still a ridiculous deal, you get everything in the image below

Obviously this will mostly be for any RPG fans, painters or people interested in a lot of conversion bits, seems like a crazy amount of miniatures (around 250 I believe) for the price considering they estimate it will have a store value of around $500. If you are interested enter your email here http://www.reapermini.com/ks/ be quick though not too sure when the pledge manager goes live and non-backers only have till then to get put on the system.

I actually just signed up to this about an hour ago. First time ive ever been on kick starter and what a find!
It is a little disappointing to have missed the pledge period but what a relief that they are still offering a way to get in on this mind blowing offer. I have no idea how I am going to use most of these miniatures, but how can you resist? If nothing else itll be a great source of parts to cannibalize. Some of the models absolutely look cool enough to warrant being painted as a project of their own :D .

Itll be a fair wait but by the looks of things, more than worth it

Yea it’s going to be a long time till March, the wait is already killing me. For me I am mostly getting it for the painting aspect but it might be the push I need to go looking for an rpg group also as I keep meaning to. By the way Shadow if you go to reapers site you can get a good look at some of the models in their old resin form in greater detail which is nice if you're interested.

You planning on picking up many of the extras? I'm definitely spending at least an extra $40 on those plus the $25 for swapping out the Sophie model, getting the frost giants for sure ($10 and for both the current models in resin its $45 and they are amazing) as well as C'thulhu and Nethyrmaul and still deciding on a few others.

The extra $50 does hurt a little bit but I suppose that is what I deserve for coming late to the party. Luckily for me Ive convinced my brother to go 50 50 on this with me. There are more models than anybody could paint by themselves and we are pretty good at sharing :D

strangely enough, I find myself really looking forward to the smaller and more mundane minis such as the Vermin pack and the other little critters scattered throughout. I think they will be great little details to add to other projects. Im also looking forward to painting the naga looking creature from the "bedeviled" pack. Ive always wanted to try painting something with scales. The IMEF marines and dark heroes also look like fun, OH! and the "swamp things"! (stop me or ill keep picking things out all day)

as to the extras, Im doing my best to resist temptation. Shouldering the extra 50 is already a stretch on my meagre resources. That frost giant king does look pretty wicked though..... and I did say I wanted to paint something with scales  , dragons have lots of scales...... My brother has already laid claim to all the undead and decaying gribblies in the box and Im fairly sure he will be paying the extra for the undead dragons (Nethyrmaul and Kaladrax, both of which looking absofreakinglutely amazing just from their concept art). Perhaps I will purchase a dragon of my own.... decisions abounds as to which one though.

That Frost wyrm looks pretty sweet too though.......

........................... and the hydra....

Darn it Zilcho, what have you done to me!. Im going to go broke now :dead:

Haha I know the feeling, my wallet will be hurting after this. After I first pledged for it I was like thats it, no extras and then I've talked my self into adding just a little more each time I've looked, if they don't hurry with the pledge manager I think I'll be eating instant noodles for the month.

Very happy about being able to swap out the Sophie model for the $25 of credit for spending on extras though, swapping out a biker sized model for an (around) 10 inch undead dragon? yes please! Still a little torn about getting Nethyrmaul or Kaladrax + another $10 though.
