So as well as travelling a lot and starting to play with my forgeworld goodness I have also been working on the Moebius Models Viper MkII from Battlestar Galactica. Like many of my projects it's been going for a few years now finally getting to completion. Just waiting on a decal sheet to finish of the correct tail number and pilot plate.

Look what I have here for all of you! I made some Tyranid goodness while Tau have had no love from GW.

This shiny beast I painted for my girlfriend for Christmas:
(carapace is black with silver edge highlights, coated with gloss varnish, though its hardly visible here)

Well... what can I say: it took me three months of work on it. It's good and bad at once, that it's the quickest done (by me) model of this size yet.
Now what we have here... Wave Serpent it seems?

Now, if you take a look at my older posts, you can see I enjoy making Warhammer gifts. Isn't this a perfect idea for spreading our hobby?

I came across the mice range by Reaper Miniatures a while ago. Adorable little blighters, every one. When I saw the guitarist, I was sold on my Valentines gift for my girl this year.

Made the plinth with classic sand base and slight additions of static grass in two varieties with Oregano leaves. To say she was delighted would be putting it mildly.

Who says these gimmicky, overly cute ranges have little merit? (wink)
