WHOA!!!!! I'm really liking the colour on your firewarriors  I did something similar to my Kasrkin for my Imperial Guard force , just abit more of a Codex Grey base colour with Rotten flesh camo.

Image

Are you going to keep the weapons that colour or you going to paint them differently to the armour ?

Liking your work as per normal :)

Thanks BS,
i am not sure if i am going to keep the Guns Blue or to dod them in Camo pattern too ...

but i guess as they are quite big (espeacially the normal rifles) i better do them Camo too ...

i wont do any fancy highlights or so (except for the red lenses) as that wouldn't be so good for a camo setup

Hey Che!

Your colour-scheme turned out really good, but as yourself mentioned, I would paint the butt of the rifle black or something else. The round thing on the end of the muzzle could need some colour, too. Maybe silver, gold or TinBitz. But feel free to ignore this proposal :P

 Is there an arrow in the shoulder guard of one of the FireWarriors? Ahhh ... humans are so backward :D

Have you already thought about the base?

hmm i'll think about it as i said i don't want to do to much as that would work against the camo effect (but neither do i want to do not enough)

jup ... i thought that squad as sort of hardened Veterans, one has the arrow on his shoulderpad, one has a bolterhole in the pad, and one got 'scratches' on the helmet and a piece of his shoulderpad is missing!

I certainly like this latest camo pattern the best so far - the large blobs of colour on the previous ones looked a little off to me, as with large blobs like that you often have to be very neat and regular else it looks scrappy, however from what I can see the smaller, dappled camo spots really work quite well on the latest scheme - although the pictures are a little small, so it's hard to see the detail. Love the conversion of the XV22 so far as well - the plain Marine torso works suprisingly well, and fixes the problem of the Stealthsuit helm covering the original torse nicely. I'm sure it'll look even better when you add some Tau detail to it, and as I have a few of those type of torsos lying around, I may just adapt your idea...

And the arrow in the shoulderpad is hilarious! :D

Now your scheme looks even better! Keep it up and you will have a nice army when all is done ;)
Also nice fish! Why pointed you out that you painted them? Did all the other minis paint someone else? :P

Greetings

Hey Che

You new conversion will be a good stand in for a XV8 :D . What will you use as engine?
Hmmm … do you still have any Space Marine torsos left to built your SM army?

Che's girlfriend painted the D-Fish previously ;) … and no! I do not know where to find a girlfriend who likes Warhammer40k :::(

So long!

exactly my GF did it ... but to say she likes 40K would not be correct though ...

well in the Assault squad box where 10 Torsos but only enough parts to build 5 Marines!

I love that camo pattern.
And that helicopter looks like one a guy I once knew stole... He died when it crashed into a neighborhood (no, that's totally a lie but it's rather funny)

The camo pattern is looking much bettern now, the flecking (what would you call that?) has really helped it out!

okay after refreshing 5 days in Danmark, i am back to beginn my newest project.

on my desk i now have lots of bits from XV8, XV25, lots of other Tau units, and a few bits from our many enemies.

i am about to do my interpretation (sort of) of a very famous model, the first steps i have done already and am doing quite decent progress.

only thing i am lacking now is glue ... but since (finally) a GW-Store opened in 'Braunschweig' i'll combine two things, 1. visiting the new store 2. filling up my Glue stock.

pictures will follow soon ...

its not the best picture, had some problems with the light, but there you can see the parts i am using, some of them might not be used, some parts are still missing.

i already chopped some of the parts, and maybe some already figure what this is going to be.

greetings
