Thank you for the feedback.
It's really good to have someone else than your normal gaming group to ask for coments and critisism.

I really like what you did to make the Markerlight, is that just a regular FW antenna?

Yes it is... I like the simplicity, plus, it is a bit I had a lot of.

I see the General in the background there, any chance we could get a peek?

No! ;)
(at least not untill it's more done...)

Oh man, totally worth the wait!!!!

You've done a great job speedfreek! I love seeing some really imaginative conversions come together. I'm really excited to see this guy painted. Would it be possible to get a shot of the current army all together? I always enjoy those shots.

I am really looking forward to more, hopefully more of your Crisis Suit conversion!

Excellent work, Speedfreak. I like the use of Bases on the wheel. As for the heads: I think both your original, and your newer versions worked well, and that using a combination of Necron and Tau parts really does pull off the thin compact look of your droid's CGI brethren. Keep the updates coming.

Wow, I've seen some of these on TO and they're brilliant, but that Grevious model is just inspired, definitely the best so far. Genius bit of converting there. I've been thinking of converting a Necron Lord to look like Grevious for a while now (especially after playing Soulstorm - the Necron Lord in that basically IS Grevious, right down to the asthma ;) ), and this conversion is some great inspiration. I was kind of expecting him to have some Gauss-rod lightsabers, but I suppose you can't have everything. :)

I´ve just played my first game at 1750p against Deathwing.
With three Broadsides, a Railhead and a commander with Plasma+Ion I didn't have enough ap to handle the 32 termonators deep striking on my ass.
VP was 970-640 to me, but he took the objectives with ease and won.

And it's no good to have a curved front on a vehicle... He could fit his whole unit of 6 assault terminators and the range of my burst cannons are about 3" short.

Great modeling going on here, and for what it's worth:

Grey Death's Gue'vis

Nice tank too.

Do you mean the way you've placed the burst cannons is effecting it? IIRC, it shouldn't, because all distances are measured from the hull of a vehicle.

Lightning, weapon ranges are measured from the gun. What really matters is, is it measured from the end of the barrel or the mount? If it's measured from the barrel, you can fix it by elongating the burst cannons like on the flyers (the ones with long-barreled burst cannons).

You have pulled it off quite nicely. I can't wait to see the tank painted so I don't have to see all that ugly putty and can view it as a whole rather than parts. Love that grievous, genius use of parts. I'd suggest at least 1 lightsaber, to represent the dawn blade, held at rest roughly parallel to the ground, maybe tilted up a bit.

In short, you nailed it exactly.

I have made two tries on the "skin" of the Droids.
One a bit more pale and soft and the otherone sharper and dryer.
Which one do you prefer, and please specify why.

I think the one on the right (the lighter one) looks best the colour matches that of the film droids better and it shows the details better.

The right one is better without a doubt, and the drybrushing worked out great.

I think the left one is better. It looks softer and more like the smooth finish on the films, but I think the guns ought to be painted black and drybrushed grey. Do I see dipping on that model?

Well, my last army was dipped, so this one is going to be drybrushed...

Actually, I like them both! But the one on the right does look crisper, like a "newer" droid off the assumbly lines. I'd love to see the gun painted to get a good idea of how the end result will look. Glad to see things progressing!
