Hi Everyone! The Time has come for me to sell more Tau - things aren't going well in the whole money flow situation, so I have to part ways with my beloved XV9 battlesuits. So, I have 3 x XV9 with Fusion Cascade blasters and 3 x XV9 with Phased Ion guns for sale - I am happy to split them up into multiple groups, just let me know how you want to buy them numbers etc. Please contact me by PM for photographs and the like. They are mostly assembled, and one is as photographed on the first page of my project log (slightly painted - easily stripped and the like ) I am happy to ship to Europe but to the States I'm not keen given that it took 2 months for stuff to get to Wolfs16 last time... PM me for pricing and the like . Hugs and Kisses, Xanadu

Hello ATT, I haven't been around here very much at all recently, what with exams, real life, money difficulties and gigging. Lots of upheavals have happened during the interim: My Tau are now property of other people in the United States, with me having sent the entire collection over the pond to a friendly man in Wisconsin who was very happy to have purchased them off of me. I have been getting copious amounts of practice in with my Dark Eldar and Eldar, whilst having embarked on another project: Charachodons Astra. Other than that, I am sorry to say that I've left the Tau for good, preferring pointy eared fools instead. After my exams, I should be able to post more pictures of recent purchases to beautify these pages a little more. Love and Kisses, X

Definitely interested in the development of the Dark Eldar force, your eye for converting has been great to watch.
Completely understand life's distractions, I've been nearly 6 months without a brush in hand due to moving tribulations interstate. About to rectify that this weekend I hope!
Hear from you when you can, thanks for your project log so far Xanadu!
Tael :)

That's some nice looking additions to your army Xanadu! I especially love your Eldar colors scheme; it just fits them perfectly! You must be stoked about all the great Dark Eldar kits, huh? Man I would love to see a Razorwing or two in your army! As for the Charachodons, are you going to paint them like they are in IA:10? If so, I would be very curious as to how you plan on painting the Pacific Islander style tattoos they have on their armor. I have something similar in mind for my Marines and am looking for tips.

Hey Wolfs, I wasn't planning on painting the Charachodons until the Forgeworld Decal sets have been released, rumour has it that the decal sets will include the tattoos. Otherwise, I will try and do freehand style tracings with a fine point archive marker. As for the new DE kits, I have most of them on preorder (bar the coven models), a little something for me to look forward to after the exam season finishes. My Eldar army is staying at this size until something entirely pornographic is released , my fire prisms are actually going to have red and yellow chevrons, but RL has prevented anything like this from happening yet. Thanks for the interest.

Got to hand it to Jes Goodwin, the man has a skill when fashioning Eldar races. Great 'kit-bash', very dynamic. - Tael.

Looking very dynamic and active. Vast difference in plastic colouration between the kits? Crazy.
Await your update!

The body is from the Finecast Incubi box. This guy today got 8 pain tokens in a 3K game with allied Eldar. Needless to say, he's getting a cool new base to go with his pointy stick. Thanks for the positives Tael.

While I am not a fan of their background, the DE kits are truly beautiful. Xanadu, I really like the new characters you've added. There is only one thing about Vect: I feel that with the straight legged pose he has, a head with a closed mouth would be better. I always picture him being silent, staring almost emotionlessly on the battlefield as he plans out his next attack. With the mouth currently shouting or yelling, it just doesn't match his posture. All in all, a really solid model (I love stuff made from expensive bits ) thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the compliments Wolfs, I see what you mean about Vect's pose, but the fashion I intend to base him will make it all much clearer . As for beautiful kits, I know exactly what you mean, especially when the Razorwing is concerned. I have taken the liberty of magnetizing it so I can exchange the missiles for eachother - achieved with brass tacks and some magnets I had left over. Well, here goes:

Well hello! It's been a fair while... Imperial Armour Mymeara was released prompting me to start a new Eldar army... Here's a couple of little pictures of my colour test model... I'm very happy with the base. The recipe for that was as follows (probably very rudimentary by some peoples standards...!) Sand, painted white and drybrushed with Codex Grey, then washed with Badab Black. I then added some static grass, which was painted with Badab Black and some very watered down Purple Ink. Then the snow was added and I poured on ardcoat to give it that wet slushy look... The Guardian was then pinned to the base with the 'anchor' being a small glob of green stuff stuck to the underside of the base.
