Erm.... correct me if I'm wrong (and I realise there is a high probability of this) but hasn't he got one too many systems?
At any rate it's a great paint job and the pose is superb, nothing says "I win!" quite like a foot in the face!

Yeah hard wired drone controller would be fine, maybe stick an aerial or something on it just to make it look less like a shield generator.

For some reason the words DYNAMIC ENTRY! are screaming through my head when I look at this I love your work here, and the photoshop work is just icing on the cake If you don't mind could you share the colours and process used for the body of the suit? I rather like the Neutral desert colours you have going there...

I like it, for several reasons. Firstly, your color choices are very close to mine, Graveyard earth and bleached bone. I thinkthe muted weathering and streaking are very well done and the indirect lighting is simple but effective. And then of course there is the SM stomping ALWAYS good! Question for you, how did you acheive the streaking? Is it a wash that was carefully applied? Or just very thin paint? It adds a interesting effect with out over stating the worn look and is very subtle and "clean". Good work. Great job and post some more of your work if you can. Hoser

Sabre, that is fantastic! The pose surely adds to the effect. It is very dynamic, and the Smurf also provides a contrast to the paint job. The painting is clean and crisp like your other models, and the 'glowing' PR is a great touch! This will fit in brilliantly with the rest of your cadre!

Hi again! sorry for the delay in my answers, I've been a bit busy the last week, but here I come again. STGHOSER: About the streaking, I asume you are refering about the 'old' effect? In the feets I mixed Chocolate Brown from Vallejo, wih my base coat (Khemri Brown), I painted the 'fingers' with not too much water, and i cleared up the colour for the lights. For the metal that can be seen in the armor, I did the spots with Greased metalform vallejo again, and later, with a clearer Khemri Brown I painted the borders, for the oxid effect, I used a Brown chocolate wash, being careful to do the stripes, mixing in some parts the Chocolate Brown with the Khemri Brown Sorry for my rusty english level I hope you understand what I mean!!! Now, I'll post some pics of my FW's I hope you like them! Thanks in advance, and for the nice comments of you, guys

Oooops! Yes, the FW are highlited, the problem I see in the pics is that the highlights are quite smooth and thin, and the light of the focus made the highlights disapperas, I'll try to mend it tomorrow, taking some more pics!

I'm not sure if you'd want to fix anything on the firewarriors themselves. The highlights are nice and small the way I think they should be. I would however work on the black on the guns. The dark grey doesn't do them justice. If you're going to stick with the ceramic look (no boltgun metal) then I think they need a lighter highlight. But the armour looks fine to me. Good job, I especially like the blue, it's a nice vibrant enchanted blue, not the usual shadowgrey.

Very nice!
The paint is very clean, crisp and precise. The lenses are done quite well too. The glow and weathering on the battle suit is very well executed, all with nice, uniform sept markings .
All this is great, but, about the crisis suit: -Tau pretty much walk on their toes, so wouldn't it make sense to kick with their strong point? This isn't only about yours, I have seen many others like this. They look like they are putting all of the force on the arch of their foot, which would cause a whole world of pain to the one kicking. It just looks a little off. -I do realize that I do not know if you thought the same, and that that is the strongest and most secure spot to attach a battle suit giving a Space Marine a whole lot of foot. I just thought I would put that out.

Hello again! I want to share with you, guys, one of my ideas. I saw a cool SW Jedi Space ship, and I thought I could do something with it, so...with many spare bits I did my 'Piranha' (or whatever)...It's a different concept, but at least, the scale fits very well. Perhaps it's not extremely original, but I guess it works. Enjoy it! (It's not finished I want to add some more details and fill some spaces with GS)

Lovely paint scheme, nicely flows and neatly shown...well done

I love the space ship as a tau vehicle. The way you converted it makes it really believable and its really nicely done. If only you could see a firewarrior through the glasses.
