Well, you can go to Reverse-Shin Rehab where all converted shins are facing the correct way, or you can provide constructive criticism instead of stating how much you dislike something they've done. Sound fair? - ST

....*takes a breath and steps back* My apologies, Shas'vre...as I said, it is simply a pet peeve of mine, just one of those things that makes you go "OOOOOH I can't believe they did that! :( " or something along those lines...

I suppose I could make myself useful and offer some constructive criticism. Sabre, how's about some shin/knee guards to help cover those up? it helps hide cuts/damage to the knee made when removing the shin, and just looks cool. Suggestions I could give are the common Stealthsuit shoulderpads, cut-up battlesuit shoulders (As the almighty Tael does), or-the cheap route, the route I took (not many bits to choose from  ), Firewarrios shoulderpads. If not, flipping both shins around at least on the one battlesuit will help keep things even and make it look like both knees bend the same way.

Thanks for this. I really appreciate it. - ST

Hi again! I saw many XV's with fire warriors shoulder pads, but finally I didn't use it, because the reversed shins it's not an important part and the shoulder pads were looking weird V__V

Wodai, about the paintng of your cadre, I want to travel to Sweden to meet some blonde (or not) cuties, maybe we could do some kind of business ;)

Here I come again!!!!! Finally I finished my Gue'vesa squad!! I'll use them like Fire warriors, with pulse carabines. It was a real pain to finish this guys, they took me a lot of hours, but I'm quite happy with the final result, so hope you like it, and they serve to inspire like I was inspired from other Gue'vesa miniatures :)

Next unit to be painted...Kroots....V__V

Hi Sabre,

This Hobby is a passion and in Germany we say "Passion comes from pain" makes not much sense in english words
Quote:
Leidenschaft kommt von leiden.

But they look awesome! They were worth the pain :P :D
Looking forward onto those Kroots

Nice couple indeed. Great detailing and weathering. Not to intense :)

The Gue'vesa are fun too.. a very original approach to the unit.

What colour are you using to contrast with the black? It's a nice neutral khaki of some kind.

EDIT. Just found the answer on page 2! :D

And another shot of my Pathfinders, yesterday I finished the snipers, (not quite happy with the low quality of the mold on these minis... :( )

I'm alive again... Loooooong time since I posted anything in ATT, but recently I found the desire for bringing back to the fight my Bily'yan Cadre.

I've been very busy re-painting and modifying my 'old' XV-8 suits and Fire warriors, but I think that the job worth it...
There is another surprise... I bought an airbrush, and I was fed-up of painting things in Dheneb Stone, so... I started painting my 'new' XV8 in grey... The idea is to mix both cadres, one for Bil'yan and the other for O'shova.

Now I realize that this post without pictures is useless!

wooooow

Permission to become your newest cheerleader and bug you incessantly with questions? :P

Your cadre looks awesome! Your effects are particularly inspiring (weathering, glows, lenses, stains etc)

Thank you for coming back to inspire a whole new generation of ATT Shas'La

Now please excuse me while I shamelessly try to uncover and steal the secrets of your glow effects around your battlesuit's eye lenses
