Very nice I'm impressed. Did you use any inks for your FW? That Gue'la with the long blond hair is really cool! :)

Wow...great pics!!! I especially love the layout of the stealths. The color placement is just gorgeous. I had no plans for any more stealths until I saw those. Great, great job!

I just took a look at your Daemonhunters army, and all I can say is wow! I love the battle damage on the dreadnoughts. Is there a reason you painted both armies with similar color palettes?

its a good enough reason!

You'll find it often DeathSquad, good painters will develop a style and you will see it over different armies. Similarities in palette, technique etc.

It also sometimes gives you a clue as to their first army too. Sometimes. :D

Hi again Salgin, you've got some great stuff there, definitely I am a fan!

Your blending of the pale blue tone you use is very, very nice indeed.

Really like your bases too, excellent work sir!

Very nice work! I really like the dark paintjob on Rymr, but I love the drone conversions! Very nice work. I cannot wait to see how the DH Inquisitor comes out!

The shading on Shas'O'R'Myr is very smooth, I like it. I'm sure it is even more subtle in person, as digital cameras have a habit of draining colour at fine detail.

I like your more rugged variation on the drones! :D

Thanks for the update!

~ Tael.

There are cameras that take pictures in .RAW format then you can choose how to compress them. Most digital cameras just compress the .RAW into .JPG, some have the option to remove/turn off this feature, and your photos can be better :)

Hi all,

After a long silence in the course of which I took advantage of it to paint my Space Wolves army, I return among you to prepare the renovation of my Hunter Cadre.
This renovation will spread out over several months and I would try to bring you a maximum of photos and tips.

Remain thus watchful, :D

Hi,

As I had announced it, I began to repaint my Hunter Cadre.
Indeed, the old colours didn't suit to me any more and I decided to replace the camouflage by real colors.
Colors more in agreement with my artistic fiber, the pinkish Red and the white. :D

Remember, my Fire Warriors looked like this :

And I had made a test on Stealths :

Image

I thus decided to repaint my Crisis on the same colour schem as the Stealths and here is the beginning of the job on the shield of Shas' O' R' Myr:

Before :

After :

Ok, I know that the picture is also better, I bought an EOS meanwhile ;)

Comments are Welcome :)

Wow, that is quite an improvement! I like how your colors pop and they give some real vibrancy to the models. It's funny, but I've had a picture of that Stealth Suit saved to my Inspiration folder for months! I never knew it was yours! :) How do you go about painting the turquoise bits?

Salgin, I think everyone would be interested to see a group photo of your completed Space Wolves, judging by the standards of the rest of your painting skills shown here. Please post it up for everyone to admire.

Then get back to painting those Tau figures ;) . The red-pink tones are superb.

E.
