That cockpit is expertly done! I am amazed with the detail you put into the display screens, well done!

Hello guys, regardless of what you may have been thinking, I really am still alive, although my last update is over a year old. Reasons there are enough (kids, job, etc.), but let´s not complain. Given time, I still lurk around and I´m very happy, my presence here hasn´t been ended, so a big thank you for that. Also given time, I still work on my army and - believe it or not, here is some new stuff: „But why me?“ „Because you´re the one who built it.“ “Actually it´s being built by Enercon Integrated Military Equipment. I just made the prototype, which...” “See? You built it” “I hate those military types, they´re never interested in what we do, just in that answer to >how much bang for the buck?<” “It´s not O´s or El´s, they´re mainly La and Ui...might be some Vre´s” “Some Vre´s??” “Yes, just some”, and with that he shoved him into the room. “Gentlemen, this is Fio´Vre Mu tin. He´ll tell you all you need to know about your newest best friend.” Dead silence rested among the seated Firewarriors. “Well..er..I´m Fio´Vre Mu tin and here to tell you everything you need to know..” There was some chuckling across the room, the Shas´Vres in the front row cleared their throaths or looked down in suppressed laughter and somewhere, someone muttered “who could have guessed that..?” Mu Tin hated conferences. He was a gifted constructor, churning out piece after useful piece for the greater good (and the war at their very doorstep), but while numbers and schematics seemed to hover and process around him all by themselves, words did not. Fortunately, his Facility Leader, Fio´O Kar Ha Gei did not often force him to the presentation of his own technological miracles, but today he had left him no choice. “As you can see in this holographic projection, We´re talking about a new...” This time, chuckling turned to open laughter. A Shas´Vre in the front row, who was not laughing, whispered with a reassuring smile “maybe you should turn the projector on, lest my more simple minded subordinates get their health impaired by falling off their stools, my friend” Mu turned pale for a moment, before activating the Holo through his Datpad. An eerie green glow illuminated the room and the Warriors turned silent immediately. “This is the P41CC-Close Combat Pulse Rifle. While retaining the range and punch of a standard Pulse Carabine, the P41CC is considerably more compact and lighter. The barrel length has been decreased by 40%, making it ideal for the close confines of urban combat situations or the infighting within our mining tunnels. The Grenade launcher has been fitted to the side and upgraded from single loaded to a four shot device. The launcher will take your standard, belt mounted Grenade dispensers as magaznes without modifications. The launcher will program the Grenades to your specifications, detonating them on, behind or over designated targets. It will also calculate your lead for firing behind obstacles, after finding the range. Firing solutions will be displayed in your in-helmet displays or on the scope of the weapon itself, which brings me to the last topic: new Sight and carrying handle. While useful in itself for grabbing the rifle, the handle allows you to turn the sight sideways so as to point the weapon around a corner and still see and aim at what´s behind. Again, this feed can be ralayed via your palm-imprints to your helmets. On the downside here isn´t any gyrostabilizer on the barrel anymore, which was deemed unnecessary since the Gyro is intendes for extended bursts on medium to high engagement distances. That´s all, are there any questions?” “You the Egghead who built this crap?” “Actually it´s being built by Enercon integrated military equipment. I just made the prototype, which...” “Yust kiddin´Doc! This Baby rocks and me an my boys will put it to good use on the bugs. Won´t we, boys?” With that, applause, cheers and whistles erupted troughout the room and the Shas´Vre in the front nodded his head in approval.
Mu Tin is still mightily WIP, any comments on earth caste welcome! and finally some tinkering around with Jetpacks:

I'll second that. The gun hologram looks spectacular...like from a movie or something.

Drool. Hologram. You ripped the projector out of a Nerf gun's firing mechanism, didn't you?

Hey Panarus,
I just came home and opened up the ATT world and came across this wonderful work of yours. I checked out your firewarriors and I think they look very nice mate. I really liked your sniper team. the Sniper rifle looks very real and mean! I especially like the scope on it. The flamer unit looks absolutely fantastic, that greenstuff you did is really impressive! well painted and well posed! And then of course the Hologram! that looks really well modelled mate. I love it! keep up the good work!

Its good to see that you are still alive and working on your Tau!
That holo-unit looks amazing, its very inspiring, just like the markerlights. (which made me a fan of your work in first place)
Keep up the good work!
Greetings
- Che

@Che thanks for the re-welcome Concerning my markerlights, the tetra is still on the run and it will have a surprise for you @Firah it´s all included in the fw-sprue: his right hand was holding a rifle, his left hand a sensor thingy(the one with the two antennas) both of which it cut out from under his hands thanks to everyone else who approved of my work. It´s rare and I have to carve it out of family time with wife and three kids

Fio'la, high tech gadgets and in projected holo-3D? What's not to love Great idea and some smooth green stuff work so far. Keep us up to date on how this model turns out. Been great seeing all these day-to-day Tau characters being modelled lately. - Tael.

Fio Vre Mu´tin showing the new P41CC ...finally finished @che: I hope I won´t stretch your virtue too much @Wolfs: The Weapon is hanging in the air through transparent plastic (i.e taken from a blister), which can be seen from behind (won´t show as not to destroy the magic.. ) @agentarrow: I had the same idea..initially, i was experimenting with weapons for a cityfight assault engineer unit. when the weapon was finished, I thought it was a shame to have it lying around or use it for basing, so I came up with the idea of introducing it to the troops holoing all the others was the next thought, but atm i lack the blisters...

Yeah, I absolutely love it! This concept is a great way to create interesting army centerpieces. I can imagine one that has an enemy model instead of the gun; like it is a holo-projector at a briefing before a mission.

ARC personal being briefed on the newest form of the Y'he before a mission. I love the projector, and I know where the plastic is from, but I want to see if others can guess where it is too.
