Is that a Formula V? Just saw a 1960's model at a friend's in laws. It was gorgeous in that retro-cool manner.

I'm no expert, but judging on size and build it strikes me as a modern version of the one I saw.

Talking what have I been up too lately, working on Macross page art for Paulson. More soon in his Robotech thread here.

It's a Van Diemen RF82. Formula Ford 2000. So a 2L Ford Pinto in the back. She's a classic, and we use her in classic races. :)

My poor Tau have been patiently waiting for me to come back to them.. But I've been too busy with some charity projects the last few months. The previous project was a custom Black Reach set:

I am currently working on a project much bigger than I am used to. The Normandy SR2 from the video game Mass Effect 2. I had made the SR1 for last year's marathon which went over very well, so I am hoping this one does even better!
Image

Hopefully it will look like this by the end of the month..
Image

It will be auctioned off for the Mass Effect Marathon on the 26th of November.
After the months of work on it I will be sad to see it go, but it will be for a good cause.

Painting of course! I only have a few tau minis left before I run out and have to wait for the release.

I have also been working on a few single miniatures and some board games, I made a thread for on Warseer which can be viewed in my signature :)

Inspired by Taels Hulk Hounds, I have been working on these guys.

Image
Image

I had some old, second hand Necromundia plastics laying around, so I figured I'd see what I could come up with. I',m not sure if I'll keep them on the bases they have now or put them on some Fenris starship bases. Any suggestions?

The premise behind these guys is that they work in the areas of the salvage project that are somewhat secure and have at least basic life support. The armed guys are there to protect the cutters from anything that may come along and try to eat them while they do their work.

Here is a shot after some GS.

These Current Minis look cool. Never got to play Necromunda myself I did play Mordheim from what I understand is the Fantasy Version. And my main Reason for posting  is to Say that is a Nice formula Ford. My Grandparents use to have one that I would Race now and then Until it got turned into a compact Car... Yet the Engine Lived on in my old Mk11 Escort up until a truck incident. Will you be the one racing or just working on her?

Sadly no modelling/painting to report. I've been slowly updating this website.

Sadly due to the ever growing demands of my final university year, I haven't neither painted or modeled or even put together a single model for the last 8 months.

On the other hand however I have developed a huge interest in Infinity minis, just something about frail looking and smaller than usual GW minis that attracts me.

Fortunately I have a Mordheim marathon this weekend ahead of me, so some time with minis will come!

Formula Ford? Ahhh.. this is the next step for my friend's father in law.

@Revenant
Couple of great projects there. Plenty of this Miniatures for Charity stuff going about.

Board game miniatures, Necromunda, Mordheim and even serious websites ( ;) Didi)

In my own news, Paulson put up the backgrounds I've been working on : here.

The shading on her is beautiful, she looks almost real! ;)

Well, I was not up to a lot of stuff lately, but me and a few friends ordered from Forgeworld and it took only 6 Days to get it delivered (I was expecting that I had to wait longer).

So now I am up to Building an XV84 as my new Commander, an XV88-2 and finally an Barracuda!

Pictures will follow.

Look forward to it :D

I myself have been developing sketches for a great alternate fantasy game called The World of Twilight (without the Vampires).
Recently completed this self-imagined Wrangler character on his Enuk mount :

Trying to emulate the game's art style closely. It has been a fun diversion between design work lately.

Currently Built a new secondary commander, and repainted a Hammer head for the Cadre.

On the Race Cars front. 99 (car above) Has new bearing shells in. Engine in, and we Fired it up Friday... Ran lovely! Bit lumpy due to the timing is off.

6th December #99, the other car #3, as well as two others (Royal FF2000 and a Raynard 883) are out at my local Circuit. Fingers Crossed for both of the Boss's cars to run well!

Hello again!

Just wanted to share a progress update of my Eldar flyer.

Image

I did some painting, stripping, conversing with TheAmbit, MORE conversing with TheAmbit, and finally he talked me into accepting what I had and so progress ensued. :D Thanks for your patience TA!

For those of you wondering why I've done this to a Dark Eldar Razorwing, go back to the first page of the post. I'm still not 100% sold on the stripes, though they look better than when I started:

Image

I want to make a whole detachment of these in various sizes and weapons configurations. Eventually I'd like to try making one from plumbing supplies and sheet styrene. The base is going to get some more attention, and the guns have been primed but need their first shot of paint.

Thanks Cipher,

The Eldar do have some really elegant models. I've really liked the shift to the newer style since the 4th ed codex came out.

Speaking of lovely models, I've been looking at your XV 9 through envy colored glasses... :P

Bit of a Twilight kicker at the moment, was inspired after booking some preliminary dates for Morocco next year. Rendered in Point of View from the saddle atop an enuk mount, coming into a trade town :

Some great alternate projects going on in this thread, encouraging me to complete shelved projects like this.
