Hello there, I just thought I would introduce myself

Name - Lewis Couperthwaite ( Lulu, Ferret )
Age - 18
Location - England

I started my tau force when I was 14, I played for a year then lost interest. About 9 months ago I started up again, and since then I have been enjoying it. I seem to have a competent list, My HQ is a Shas'o by the name of Commander SharpShield, my lists focus mainly around my FW squads aswell as my XV88's. My colour scheme is based around my unit and unit type;
XV88's - White, Bronze, Orange
XV25's - White, Bronze, Red
PF's - White, Green
Hammerhead - White, Orange
XV8 - White, Bronze, Blue
FW - White, Bronze

My army preference to fight is Grey knight, Necrons and Imperial Guard, the armies I struggle against are Deamons, Blood Angles and Chaos Marines.
For tau players I would suggest looking through codex for combinations of units most tau players usually stick to one mainline troop type, but if you where use Vespids and a counter assault unit to cover your FWs then your force should fair better, just little things like that. Also if you look and read through some of the equipment they can be quite amazing.

I play regularly at my local GW store, my best moments with my tau so far having a unit of 5 PF's beat down the Chaos lord terminator Abaddon

pathfinders beating abbadon? lol i love it when our little shas'la suprise us. i once had a gun drone kill an ork warboss and one of his nobz
my ork friend has been demanding i add spikes to my drones ever since so he can understand exactly HOW they scored that kind of kill in melee.

Nice Drones are hilarious in combat i also imagine its like being hit by a big Frisbee , you should definitely give your drone something for his heroic actions, my Shas'ui from the PF unit now carries a sword to show he has achieved a combat victory.
