Faol,
Your dark coloured DevilFish looks good -has a special ops feel. Is it black or a very dark green?
Nice smooth paint job although you could spice it up with some subtle highlighting around the panel edges. Are you intending to do the commander's turret windows red like the cockpit?

The blue glow on the engines is a nice touch.
The shortened Burst Cannon looks compact but deadly. I think it seems to improve the DF's profile not having the usual BC barrels sticking out.

Are the grenade launchers under the front wings decoy launchers ? What ever they are, they're an interesting addition that helps add some detail to the front.

Oh - dirty remarks.....you could grunge it up a bit but not too much. ;)

Actually I did but it looks like the lack of good lighting blotted it out
The snub burst cannon I got form the GW site

I used the grenade launchers for the flechette launcher (can't afford the FW ones...yet)

Oh I did grunge it up a bit but it was an accident that almost ruined the model , when I was spraying it with gloss varnish I grabbed my black spray paint  so the bottom on the DF got resprayed black and some mist of to the sides of the hull I used a small bottle of testors thinner I had way back when I was a model builder and used it to clean up most of the black but then I left it as is.

The camera did a good job of hidding the error but if you look at the sensor thing near the burst cannon look at the bottom you will see that its black not dark red (it was an pleasant side effect that turned out)

faol, I like that Devilfish! Very nice though in my opinion, you shouldn't have shortened the barrels of the forward Burst Cannon. Then again, that's just me. I like the original long barrels because it would sort of make the Burst Cannons seem more fearsome.

The colour overall is nice! Like others have said, it gives it a special ops look and feel.

Great job there!

By the way, where are the Fire Warriors?!

Yeah. The Devilfish is really well done. You reminded me that I still have a Hammerhead to complete. :)

put more light blue sept markings on them, and they'll look great!

faol, your Fire Warriors seem a little too dark in the photo. I can't really make out the details except the overall outline of the Fire Warriors and their sept markings. Perhaps you should re-shoot those pictures with more lighting.

I'll see what I can do :) I tried on shot with and without flash and the one without the flash looked better. With the flash the pic came out too blue :?

Then you should do what I did for my shots. I used a table lamp with a white florescent lamp and a white A3 size paper as the background of my shots. I don't use the room light because then it would be too bright and the shade on the room light is not totally white so it tends to give the room a little tint of green al around and that will spoil the shot.

The glowing engines are awesome. I'll definetly be doing the same on my Tau Skimmers. I'm not too keen on the transfers. You can clearly see it are transfers. No more comments here! Well yeah, maybe one more. The green armour could use another highlight. It's a bit dark.

Keep us updated!

Yeah, I need to buy a better gloss coat or just use my paint on gloss varnish :? well live, learn and keep on til I get it right :) as for highlights I'll be trying that on my next DF.

Would anyone know what is a good highlight color or Tamiya's British Green?
